Abstract: The magnetic measurements on Ni_{50}(Mn_{0.5}Fe_{0.5})_{25+x}Ga_{25-x}(0 x 5.0) ferromagnetic shape memory alloys are made in the temperature range between 4.5 K and 500 K. A phase diagram of Ni_{50}(Mn_{0.5}Fe_{0.5})_{25+x}Ga_{25-x} is determined from the results of the temperature dependence of the initial permeability. The Curie temperature T_C exhibits only mild dependence when the concentration x increases. The martensitic and reverse martensitic transformation temperatures, T_M and T_R, increase with x. The total moment per formula unit μ_{m} remains constant with x.
