Abstract: An approach based on an evolutionary algorithm for the Hysteretic Preisach model identification is presented. The proposed Symbiotic Evolutionary Algorithm is based on a synergy between Genetic Algorithm and Bacterial Chemotaxis Algorithm. The synergy allows to perform more accuracy on numerical results and more numerical stability versus the use of a single algorithm. The proposed approach has been validated by experimental hysteresis loops.
