Abstract: The coupled electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical simulation for induction heating of railroad wheel is described. The developed mathematical models, numerical algorithms and software are intended for finite element analysis of interactive electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical processes in treated wheels. The problems are solved in axisymmetrical formulation. The aim of simulation is the definition of rational technological conditions of induction heating without using of full-scale experiment.
