Abstract: Imperfect economic production lot size (EPL) models are considered over different types of uncertain finite time horizons with stock-dependent demand, reliability dependent defective rate and random out-of-control state. Generally in EPL models, defective production starts after the passage of some time from production commencement. So occurrence of defective production is random and imposed here through a chance constraint. Reliability of a machinery system affects on the defective rate and production cost to produce an item. Here unit production cost depends on reliability and production rate and part of it is taken against the environment protection cost. Both linear and non-linear …production dependent forms of quality are considered. The problems are formulated as total cost minimization problems with crisp, random, fuzzy, fuzzy-random, rough and fuzzy-rough constraints and solved using generalized reduced gradient method (GRG). Several special cases are derived and numerical experiments are performed to illustrate the general and particular models. Show more

Abstract: This paper proposes the simplified robust T-S fuzzy output regulator for discrete-time affine nonlinear systems in the presence of parametric uncertainties and external disturbance. First, a virtual desired variable (VDV) based fuzzy output regulator is developed by involving integral compensation and virtual desired state profile. Meanwhile, the sufficient condition of asymptotic output regulation is formulated in LMIs. Since the VDV-based fuzzy regulator is unavailable for the system corrupted by parametric uncertainty and external disturbance, we further modify the above one to a simplified non-VDV fuzzy output regulator which only consists of an integral-type PDC controller without VDV calculation. The asymptotic …output regulation is achieved for the uncertain system without disturbance. Afterward, the robustness is enhanced to satisfy an H ∞ criterion for attenuating the effect of disturbance and modelling error via robust LMI-based gain design. Compared with traditional methods, the proposed fuzzy controller is more simplified and robust without using error coordinate transformation and solving regulation equations. Finally, a truck-trailer system is taken as applications to show expected control performance. Show more

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a hybrid mechanism based on fuzzy logics and swarm intelligence for the coordination of multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). In a previous work we have developed a finite state machine to control the swarm of robots by pre-defining expected behaviors. The main goal of our proposal is to replace the finite state machine by a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy mechanism that smoothly changes the expected behavior of the UAVs aiming to obtain the dynamic behavior required by real-time critical systems. We deployed three different metrics to compare our proposal to the previous one, such as the target …tracking capability, the anti-collision rate and the cohesion rate aiming to catch the most important aspects desired in a group of UAVs tracking targets. We performed simulations varying the number of UAVs in the environment and the number of targets to be tracked. The results indicate that the proposed mechanism diminished the number of collisions and increased the cohesion rate. Show more

Abstract: Extending the problem of capacitated single-allocation air hub location is considered in this research. One of the parts of the transportation decision-making process is capacity of the hubs, and the balancing requisites become imposed on the network. Also, inclement weather or emergency conditions are the controversial issues in programming air transportation networks. Here, hub facilities cannot temporarily provide a good service for their spoke nodes. Therefore, some other types of pre-determined underutilized facilities in the network are applied as virtual hubs to host some or all connections of original hubs to improve the incurred incapacitation, and to enhance network flexibility …and demand current. In such a situation, it is sensible to expect some imprecise or obscure information. To account for this issue, a robust optimization approach is applied to present a more realistic problem. Here, this study develops a new robust mixed integer linear model to propose a dynamic virtual hub location problem with balancing requisites. Minimizing opening, maintenance, closing, and transportation costs in the network are the objectives of the study. Furthermore, a meta-heuristic algorithm called self-adaptive imperialist competitive algorithm (SAICA) is utilized for the hub location problem. Finally, this study carries out various computational experiments to investigate proposed model and solution approaches. Show more

Abstract: Our country’s education got big development in these days. For its future’s more durative and healthy development, the research on all educational resources in our country’s education is recognized. The sports grounds of National Education System which is one of the most important educational resources are the key ensurance and material basis for the smooth development of our country’s school sport. The data of Fifth National Sport-Site Investigation show the sports grounds of National Education System take percentage of 65.6 in all of our country’s sports grounds. As a result, the development situation of sports grounds in National Education System …not only has direct effect on our country’s school sport, but also on our country’s other sports career. This paper introduced some operations of interval-valued intuitionistic uncertain linguistic sets, and further developed the induced interval-valued intuitionistic uncertain linguistic correlated geometric (I-IVIULCG) operator. We also establish some desirable properties of this operator, such as commutativity and monotonicity. Then, we apply the induced interval-valued intuitionistic uncertain linguistic correlated geometric (I-IVIULCG) operator to deal with the multiple attribute decision making problems for evaluating the management performance of the sport grounds. Finally, an illustrative example for evaluating the management performance of the sport grounds is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness. Abstract: This study intends to investigate a new control structure using a robust model reference hybrid fuzzy controller. The main aim of the present study is to improve the transient response of the system subject to uncertainty meanwhile guaranteeing the stability of whole system. The control signal includes fuzzy, classic and robust terms. Hereby, by using an appropriate LYAPUNOV function the adaptation laws of the parameters of fuzzy and robust controller are derived and also, asymptotic stability of whole system is proved. As well, a novel adaptive method based on stability theorem is introduced to obtain the reasonable gains for classic …controller. To show the efficiency of the suggested controlling approach, the simulation is applied on inverted pendulum, magnetic levitation and DC servo motor systems. The results reveal the proper and acceptable performance of the presented method. Finally, using the root mean square error (RMSE) criterion it is shown that transient response of system is improved compared to that of the classic controller in which the control signal is not included. Abstract: This paper introduces the notion of (locally) fuzzy homomorphism in fuzzy hyper BE –subalgebra and makes a connection between fuzzy BE –algebras and hyper BE –algebras via this notion. Considering the fuzzy homomorphism in fuzzy hyper BE –subalgebra, this study defines some equivalence relations in a way that, under some conditions, are regular or strongly regular and so derives fuzzy BE –algebras by quotient of hyper fuzzy BE –subalgebras. In fact, it tries to introduce some strongly regular relations on any hyper BE –algebras by using the concept of fuzzy hyper BE –subalgebras and fuzzy homomorphism. Moreover, the concept of …normal fuzzy homomorphism is defined and some new normal fuzzy homomorphisms are introduced to make better connections between fuzzy BE –algebras and fuzzy hyper BE –subalgebras. Abstract: The idea of difference sequence spaces (for single sequences) was first introduced by Kizmaz in 1981 and the idea of triple sequences was first introduced by Sahiner et al. 2007. In this article, we introduce some new classes of ideal convergent difference multiple sequence spaces 3 ( c I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) , 3 ( c 0 I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) and 3 ( c 0 I ( F ) ) ( …Δ , p ) , of fuzzy real numbers using a difference operator Δ , where p =〈 p nlk 〉 is a triple sequence of bounded strictly positive numbers. We study some basic algebraic and topological properties of these spaces. We also investigate the relations related to these spaces. It is shown that the sequence spaces 3 ( c I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) , 3 ( c 0 I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) , 3 ( m I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) and 3 ( m 0 I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) are closed under addition and scalar multiplication also these spaces are sequence algebras. We have proved that the sequence space 3 ( m 0 I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) is solid as well as monotone. We have obtained the inclusion relation 3 ( m 0 I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) ⊂ 3 ( m I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) ⊂ 3 ( ℓ ∞ F ) ( Δ , p ) where the inclusions are strict. We have also proved that the sequence spaces 3 ( m 0 I ( F ) ) ( Δ , p ) and 3 (m I (F ) ) (Δ , p ) are nowhere dense subsets of 3 ( ℓ ∞ F ) ( Δ , p ) . Show more

Abstract: The Cubic soft sets are primarily concerned with generalizing the soft sets by using fuzzy sets and interval valued fuzzy sets. We introduce the concept of cubic soft expert sets (CSESs ) which can be considered as a generalization of both soft expert and cubic soft expert sets. The notions of internal cubic soft expert sets (ICSESs ), external cubic soft expert sets (ECSESs ), P-order, P-union, P-intersection, P-AND, P-OR and R-order, R-union, R-intersection, R-AND, R-OR have been defined for cubic soft expert sets (CSESs ). We also investigate structural properties of these operations on cubic soft expert sets (CSESs …). It has also been proved that cubic soft expert sets (CSESs ) satisfy commutative, associative, De Morgan’s, distributive, idempotent and absorption laws. In last section, we provide the application of a cubic soft expert sets (CSESs ) in multi-criteria decision making problem. We present the algorithm of a cubic soft expert decision making and give the numerical application. Show more

Abstract: Intuitionistic fuzzy recommender system (IFRS), which has been recently presented based on the theories of intuitionistic fuzzy sets and recommender systems, is an efficient tool for medical diagnosis. IFRS used the intuitionistic fuzzy similarity degree (IFSD) regarded as the generalization of the hard user-based, item-based and the rating-based similarity degrees in recommender systems to calculate the analogousness between patients in the system. In this paper, we firstly extend IFRS by using a new term - the intuitionistic fuzzy vector (IFV) instead of the existing intuitionistic fuzzy matrix (IFM) in IFRS. Then, the intuitionistic value similarity measure (IvSM) and the intuitionistic …vector similarity measure (IVSM) are defined on the basis of the intuitionistic fuzzy vector. Some mathematical properties of these new terms are examined, and several IVSM functions are proposed. The performances of these IVSM functions for medical diagnosis are experimentally validated and compared with the existing similarity degrees of IFRS. The suggestion and recommendation of this paper involve the most efficient IVSM function(s) that should be used for medical diagnosis. Show more
