Abstract: As a well known statistical method, logistic discrimination has been successfully used in many practical applications including medical diagnosis and personal credit assessment. In this paper, we apply this model to imbalanced problem which is also referred to as skewed or rare class problem, characterized by having many more instances of one class (negative class or majority class) than the other (positive class or minority class). However, traditional logistic discrimination tries to pursue a high accuracy by assuming that all classes have similar size, leading to the fact that instances with positive classes are often overlooked and misclassified to negative …ones. To fully consider class imbalance, we re-learn the two basic measures for imbalanced problem, g-mean and f-measure, and design two new cost functions, i.e., g-mean based metric (GM) and f-measure based metric (FM), to supervise logistic discrimination learning the corresponding parameters, where GM is the geometric mean estimation of recall of both positive and negative class as g-mean and FM is a harmonic mean between recall and precision of positive class as f-measure. The experiments on UCI data sets show that the proposed method presents significant advantage comparing to state-of-the-art classification methods on all metrics used in this paper including accuracy, recall, f-measure and g-mean. Abstract: In this paper, the combination of unreliable evidence sources is considered based on multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) model in intuitionistic fuzzy environment. In the intuitionistic fuzzy MCDM framework, evidence sources can be evaluated based on the ranking method between intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. A generalized discounting operation on unreliable evidence bodies is firstly proposed to deal with uncertain reliability factors. Then we mainly investigate the evaluation evidence reliability factors without prior knowledge. Our proposed evaluation method is based on the principle of self-assessment. It is implemented by the probabilistic comparison between intuitionistic fuzzy values. Our proposed evaluation method is independent …to the dissimilarity measure between basic probability assignments represented by an evidential distance. Numerical examples demonstrate the performance of our proposed reliability evaluation method. Show more

Abstract: High technology enterprise venture capital is one kind of important means that market economy system supports to put research findings into industrial production time, with whose proper function, have driven host country science and technology and development of the economy in the field of every. In venture capital reality affair activity, the rightness to the project appraises the key link being that venture capital is in motion and does business successfully. The task of this paper is to study on the multiple attribute decision making problems for evaluating the efficiency of venture capital of high-science and technology companies with dual …hesitant fuzzy information and incomplete weight information. Then, exploiting the existing GRA methods, computation steps for tackling dual hesitant fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making problems with incomplete weight information are proposed. In the end, an example of evaluating the efficiency of venture capital of high-science and technology companies using the grey relational analysis based on the dual hesitant fuzzy information is proposed. Abstract: In the paper, we develop the intuitionistic fuzzy induced ordered entropic weighted averaging (IFIOEWA)operator for multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems. The new operator’s attribute values take the form of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IFNs) and the intuitionistic fuzzy entropy (IFE) is fully taken into account, after the intuitionistic fuzzy entropic weighted averaging (IFEWA)operator is proposed. Afterwards, the prime properties of the IFIOEWA operator are investigated under some operational laws of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IFNs). Moreover, a method based on the IFIOEWA operator for decision-making is presented. Eventually, a numerical example is constructed to reveal the availability and applicability of …the raised operator. Abstract: Good recovery of power system’s synchronism in the affected eclectic power system caused by the loading condition changes is the main target of Automatic Generation Control (AGC). Accomplished endeavors are led to suggest Hierarchical Fuzzy AGC (HFAGC) in multi-area interconnected power system aimed at alleviating both prominent issues i.e.: the low frequency power oscillations and the tie-line power exchange deviations. In this regard, application of multi-objective optimization technique isn’t avoidable. Due to high performance of Multi Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (MOPSO) in solving non-linear objectives, it has been engaged to unravel the optimization problem and optimal tune the HFAGC. To …confirm the high efficiency and robustness of suggested controller, two different multi-area interconnected power systems have been taken into account for this study. Meantime, the potency of HFAGC has been thoroughly appraised and compared with Conventional AGC (CAGC) via occurrence of the Step Load Perturbation (SLP) in both these test power systems. To sum up, the simulations results have transparently corroborated the high performance of HFAGC as compared with CAGC in both the test power systems. Show more

Abstract: The selection of proper material is a formative stage in engineering design and production process. Without a systematic approach, many practical engineering materials may be neglected for selection. Multiple attribute decision making techniques as efficient methodologies can aid decision-makers in finding the optimal option. As a robust multiple attribute decision making approach, the MULTIMOORA method can be usefully employed in materials selection process. In this study, we extend the MULTIMOORA approach based on Shannon entropy concept under fuzzy environment to solve a materials selection case that is a group multiple attribute decision making problem. In the present paper, subjective weights …of attributes and the ratings of alternatives on attributes are assumed as fuzzy sets. The entropy concept is considered to assign objective relative importance to decision-making attributes. The fuzzy subjective weights of attributes that are based on decision-makers comments and the crisp objective weights of attributes obtained using the entropy concept are consolidated to generate the fuzzy integrated entropy weights. We evaluate a practical materials selection problem related to automotive industry. We perform a sensitivity analysis by altering aggregation and normalization techniques besides the types of weighting. The materials rankings of the example are compared with the related study. Abstract: Chance theory is put forward as a tool to deal with a complex system including randomness and uncertainty. As a fundamental concept in chance theory, uncertain random variable is an extension of random variable and uncertain variable. This paper obtains a new law of large numbers for independent uncertain random variables but not necessarily identically distributed.

Abstract: This paper deals with fuzzy clique covers in fuzzy graphs. The definition of a fuzzy clique is modified so that the fuzzy subgraph induced by each fuzzy clique is complete. Then, fuzzy cliques and maximal fuzzy cliques are characterized. Finally, fuzzy clique covers and minimum fuzzy clique covers in fuzzy graphs are introduced and characterized, and an algorithm to find a minimum fuzzy clique cover of a given fuzzy graph is also presented.
