Abstract: The paper presents the solution of a multi objective multi-index generalized assignment problem using Fuzzy Programming Technique which is a new concept. It emphasizes on minimization of the job cost and time at different sites where the jobs are being performed using different machines (medium). Multi objective assignment problem or multi objective generalized assignment problem have been solved in different ways by different mathematicians. But they have considered only two indices (jobs and alternatives). Here we have considered more than two indices and so it becomes a multi-index generalized assignment problem which makes it superior to the previous methods. Abstract: Hypergraphs are the basis of various techniques which are widely used in modern mathematics. There are many complex phenomena and concepts in many areas, including rewriting systems, problem solving, databases and logic programming which can be represented using hypergraphs. Our main objective in this research paper is to generalize the concept of bipolar neutrosophic sets to hypergraphs. Abstract: In this paper, we propose NPC c , a new Naïve Possibilistic Classifier for categorical data. The proposed classifier relies on the Bayesian structure of the Naïve Bayes Classifier for categorical data (NBC c ) which stands for an interesting pattern when dealing with discrete attributes. However, unlike NBC c , the proposed NPC c is based on the possibilistic formalism as an efficient fuzzy-sets-based alternative to the probabilistic one when handling uncertain data. Distinctively, we use the possibilistic approach to estimate beliefs from categorical data and a Generalized Minimum-based classification algorithm (G-Min) as a …novel algorithm to make decision from possibilistic beliefs. Experimental evaluations on 12 datasets taken from University of California Irvine (UCI) and containing all categorical data, confirm the effectiveness of the proposed new G-Min-based NPC c . With the used datasets, the proposed classifier outperforms the commonly-used classifiers for categorical data including NBC c , C4.5-based decision tree and RIPPER-based classifier. Moreover, it outperforms the two versions of NPC c using commonly-used possibilistic classification algorithms which are based on respectively, the product and the minimum operators. Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making problems for evaluating the visual design quality with 2-tuple linguistic information. Motivated by the ideal of generalized weighted Bonferroni mean and generalized weighted geometric Bonferroni mean, we develop the 2-tuple linguistic generalized Bonferroni mean (2TLGBM) operator for aggregating the 2-tuple linguistic information. Abstract: In this paper, the fuzzy bargaining set of cooperative game with fuzzy coalition is proposed, which can be regarded as the generalization of crisp bargaining set. The fuzzy bargaining set is based on the assumption that the total worth of a fuzzy coalition will be allocated to the players whose participation rate is larger than zero. Because fuzzy core had been proposed as a kind of solution for the fuzzy games, the relationship between fuzzy bargaining set and fuzzy core is also showed. Abstract: The notions of fuzzy anti-grouped filter and fuzzy normal filter in pseudo-BCI algebra are introduced, some properties and equivalent conditions are presented. A counterexample is constructed to show that a fuzzy anti-grouped filter may be not a fuzzy p -filter, by this, a mistake in some literatures is revised. The relationships among some special kinds of fuzzy filters are discussed, the following results are proved: (1) a fuzzy filter of a pseudo-BCI algebra X is fuzzy p -filter if and only if it is both a fuzzy normal filter and a fuzzy anti-grouped filter of X ; …(2) a fuzzy filter of a pseudo-BCI algebra X is a fuzzy associative filter if and only if it is both a fuzzy anti-grouped filter and a fuzzy T -type filter of X , if and only if it is both a fuzzy anti-grouped filter and a fuzzy q -filter of X . Abstract: For qualitative decision making problems based on decision makers’ (DMs’) risk preferences and unbalanced linguistic term sets (LTSs), a new linguistic multi-attribute decision making (MADM) method is developed. Firstly, a concept of the generalized linguistic term set (GLTS) with triangular fuzzy semantic information is introduced. In order to capture and measure the DM’s risk preference, a triangular fuzzy membership function with risk preference parameters is constructed. Then, based on the expected semantic information of linguistic terms given by the DM and the distance between two triangular fuzzy numbers, a nonlinear programming model is established to obtain an optimal GLTS.
