Abstract: Real networks often have incomplete information and complex characteristics, that is, their nodes or connecting edges are uncertain and indistinguishable. However, the concepts and methods of existing complex networks are not sufficient to address these problems. Based on rough set theory, in this paper we defined uncertainty in complex networks, developed key concepts, and studied the nature of complex networks. Using the conceptual design of rough complex networks, we then modeled third-party payment platform transactions on a rough complex network, and established an algorithm for building and programming such a network. Finally, we calculated the static geometrical characteristics of a …rough network module of the complex network, and pointed out the practical significance of these static geometrical characteristics, thus illustrating the effectiveness and rationality in the concept design. Abstract: The notion of compromise operators was systematically explored for multi-attribute decision making problems, which include widely used averaging operators, uninorms and nullnorms as the special cases. In this paper, we employ compromise operators to examine the issue of information fusion in multigranulation spaces. For this purpose, we firstly show that the optimistic multigranuation rough set model can be interpreted from the viewpoint of uninorm operators and the pessimistic multigranulation rough set model can be interpreted from the viewpoint of averaging operators or nullnorm operators. Then, by considering rough membership degrees in each Pawlak space and using the generalized compromise operator, …we present a novel approach to information fusion in multigranulation space. Lastly, an illustrative example of information fusion in multigranulation spaces is presented. Show more

Abstract: Smarandache (1998) initiated neutrosophic sets (NSs) as a new mathematical tool for dealing with problems involving incomplete, indeterminant and inconsistent knowledge. By simplifying NSs, Smarandache (1998) and Wang et al. (2010) proposed the concept of single valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs) and studied some properties of SVNSs. In this paper, we mainly investigate the topological structures of single valued neutrosophic rough sets which is constructed by combining SVNSs and rough sets. Firstly, we introduce the concept of single valued neutrosophic topological spaces. Then, we discuss the relationships between single valued neutrosophic approximation spaces and single valued neutrosophic topological spaces. Concretely, a …reflexive and transitive single valued neutrosophic relation can induce a single valued neutrosophic topological space such that its single valued neutrosophic interior and closure operators are the lower and upper approximation operators induced by this single valued neutrosophic relation, respectively. Conversely, a single valued neutrosophic interior (closure, respectively) operator derived from a single valued neutrosophic topological space is just the single valued neutrosophic lower (upper, respectively) approximation operator derived from a single valued neutrosophic approximation space under some conditions. Finally, we show there exists a one-to-one correspondence between the set of all reflexive and transitive single valued neutrosophic relations and the set of all single valued neutrosophic rough topologies. Abstract: If I is a normal hyperideal of a hyperring R , then an equivalence relation on R can be defined as follows: ≡I by x ≡ I y if and only if x - y ∩ I ≠ ∅. Hence a normal hyperideal of a hyperring is acted as an equivalence relation. In this paper we introduce a kind of novel rough soft hyperrings with respect to a normal hyperideal of a hyperring, in Pawlak approximation spaces. Some new operations of lower and upper rough soft hyperrings are studied. In particular, lower and upper rough soft hyperideals with …respect to a normal hyperideal are investigated, respectively. Some good examples are also given. Finally, we propose a novel kind of decision making method to rough soft hyperrings. Show more

Abstract: This paper proposes a consistency improving procedure for fuzzy preference relations. Fuzzy consistency index (FCI ) and fuzzy consistency ratio (FCR ) are developed to measure the consistency level for complete (or incomplete) fuzzy reciprocal preference relations (FPRs). The principal eigenvector is used for priorities deriving from a complete (or incomplete) FPR. Two criteria are proposed to identify and locate the most inconsistency judgments. A practical iterative algorithm is developed to improve the consistency for FPRs based on the eigenvector method. Based on the transformation between the FPR and the multiplicative preference relation (MPR), the proposed method also can be …used to improve the consistency of complete and incomplete MPRs. The improved FPRs or MPRs are the nearest preference relations to the original ones, which aims to retain the original judgements as much as possible. Finally, examples are illustrated and comparative analysis demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method. Show more

Abstract: In this article we introduce the triple entire difference sequence spaces and triple analytic difference sequence of Musielak Orlicz function and study some basic topological and algebraic properties of these spaces. Also we investigate the relations related to these spaces and some of their properties like not solidity, non-monotone, not perfect, dual, not symmetricity, not convergence free etc., and also investigate some inclusion relations related to these spaces.

Abstract: Abd El-latif and Kim in [2 ], introduced the concepts of (L , M )-double fuzzy ideal and (L , M )-double fuzzy remote neighborhood systems, this paper is devoted to use these concepts to introduce and study the concept of pretopological fuzzy DR -convergence structure, and constructs the category PrFDRCS which contains TFDRCS as a bireflective subcategory. TFDRCS is shown as an isomorphic with (L , M )-TDFRN . Considering the relationship between the categories (L , M )-TDFRN and (L , M )-DFTML , it is proved that TFDRCS is isomorphic with (L …, M )-DFTML . Also, pretopological fuzzy DR -convergence spaces have been found to be characterized as a kind of (L , M )-double fuzzy remote neighborhood spaces, which is called an (L , M )- strong double fuzzy remote neighborhood space. Finally, it was proved that the category (L , M )-SDFRN is isomorphic with the category PrFDRCS . Show more

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce the concept of complex multi-fuzzy sets (CMk FSs) as a generalization of the concept of multi-fuzzy sets by adding the phase term to the definition of multi-fuzzy sets. In other words, we extend the range of multi-membership function from the interval [0,1] to unit circle in the complex plane. The novelty of CMk FSs lies in the ability of complex multi-membership functions to achieve more range of values while handling uncertainty of data that is periodic in nature. The basic operations on CMk FSs, namely complement, union, intersection, product …and Cartesian product are studied along with accompanying examples. Properties of these operations are derived. Finally, we introduce the intuitive definition of the distance measure between two complex multi-fuzzy sets which are used to define δ -equalities of complex multi-fuzzy sets. Show more

Abstract: In this paper, a new indirect fuzzy sliding mode control with varying boundary layer is presented for uncertain nonlinear systems via time-variant sliding function in the presence of external disturbances. Based on rejection parameter and rejection regulator, a time-variant sliding surface as an adaptive filter is defined. This time-variant sliding surface based on an adjustable rejection parameter filters all the un-modelled frequencies. An adjustable boundary layer width, break-frequency bandwidth and the consequent parameters in fuzzy rules are tuned to attenuate the effects of the system uncertainties and un-modelled frequencies, efficiently. Also, the chattering phenomenon is completely eliminated. Three theorems and …one lemma, which facilitate design of the proposed controller, are proved. Two simulation examples are presented to illustrate the performances and the advantages of the proposed method. Show more

Abstract: In this paper, the authors extend the theory of groupoids already developed for semigroups (Bin (X ) , □) in a growing number of research papers with X a set and Bin (X ) the set of groupoids (binary systems) defined on X to the generalizations: fuzzy (sub)groupoids (largely known as used here) and hyperfuzzy (sub)groupoids (largely novel as used here), showing (1) there are natural processes and (2) new results of interest can be obtained, including the existence of new parameters which on their collapse from hyperfuzzy (sub)groupoids to groupoids yield known results in some cases and new …ones otherwise as well. Overall, the future for successful research in this area looks quite promising as noted in the paper itself. Show more
