Abstract: Uncertainty measure is one of the key issues in the study of rough set theory, however, the existing studies on uncertainty measure are restricted to set-theoretic rough set model(crisp or fuzzy). This paper extends the uncertainty measure of formulae in rough logic to probabilistic environments. By employing the probability measure theory, a new notion of probabilistic rough truth degree (P-rough truth degree for short) is proposed. This notion is demonstrated to be adequate for measuring the extent to which any formula is roughly true in probabilistic environments. Then based upon the fundamental notion, the notions of P-rough similarity degree, P-accuracy …degree and P-roughness degree of formulae in rough logic are also proposed. The properties of these concepts are investigated in detail. Moreover, the notion of P-rough similarity degree can also induce, in a natural way, three kinds of pseudo-metrics on the set of rough formulae, which can be used to develop a kind of approximate reasoning in rough logic. Abstract: This paper presents three novel single-valued neutrosophic soft set (SVNSS) methods. First, we initiate a new axiomatic definition of single-valued neutrosophic similarity measure, which is expressed by single-valued neutrosophic number (SVNN) that will reduce the information loss and remain more original information. Then, the objective weights of various parameters are determined via grey system theory. Moreover, we develop the combined weights, which can show both the subjective information and the objective information. Later, we propose three algorithms to solve single-valued neutrosophic soft decision making problem by Evaluation based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS), similarity measure and level soft set. …Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of approaches are demonstrated by a numerical example. Abstract: Wireless Nano Sensor Network (WNSN) consists of nano-scale devices with potential sensing capabilities in advanced applications. The most notable characteristic of these networks is the use of very high operating frequencies (0.1-10 THz) for communication among nano-machines. In addition, the extreme limitations of nano-devices motivate the design of novel and simple protocols for overcoming the restrictions and improving the network performance. This paper introduces a fuzzy logic-based mobility management (FLMM) solution for mobile cluster-based WNSNs founded on TDMA MAC protocol. This method aids mobile nano sensor nodes to optimally handoff among static anchor nodes named nano-controllers, so that, the handoff …decision is triggered based on a combination of three important local parameters “distance from nano-controller”, “residual energy of nano-controller” and “traffic load of nano-controller”. The proposed model is evaluated in comparison to a similar non-fuzzy distance-based mobility controller. To this end, several critical metrics such as energy consumption, packet loss ratio, successful handoff rate and average end-to-end delay have been studied using NS-3 simulator and the results of performance evaluation show that proposed fuzzy logic-based mobility controller provides more reliability, less delivery delay and lower energy consumption in a dynamic topology of limited WNSN. Abstract: Partitioning a set of objects into groups or clusters is a fundamental task in data mining, and clustering is a popular approach to implementing partitioning. Among several clustering algorithms, the k -means algorithm is well-known and widely applied in several areas that only handle numerical attributes. The k -modes algorithm is an extension of the k -means algorithm that deals with categorical variables, which has several variations such as fuzzy methods. This paper presents a new attribute weighting method for the k -modes algorithm that utilizes impurity measures such as entropy and Gini impurity. The proposed algorithm considers both the …distribution of categories of attributes within the same cluster and between different clusters. By doing this, categorical variables defined as more important that others by the new algorithm have a significant influence on the similarity calculation, and this results in improved clustering performance, which was confirmed by experiments. Abstract: This paper investigates the robust control for a class of secondary regulation rotate speed systems by applying Hamiltonian function method, and proposes a number of new results on the system. Firstly, we present some Hamiltonian realization methods for a class of nonlinear systems. Then, by transforming the nonlinear system under study into a Hamiltonian form, the paper presents several stability and H ∞ control results, respectively. Finally, an illustrative example shows the effectiveness of the result obtained in this paper.

Abstract: In order to research the properties of distance for uncertain variables, we introduced a new concept of p-distance. Then the properties of nonnegativity, identification, symmetry, and triangle inequality for the p-distance of uncertain variables and uncertain vectors were obtained. In the end, we deduced the metric space which is constituted by p-distance is complete.

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce the notions of pairwise soft sub kernel, and pairwise ∨-soft sets in a soft bitopological space (X , η 1 , η 2 , E ). Also, we study the fundamental properties of pairwise ∨-soft sets and we investigate the associated soft topology η p ∨ . Moreover, we introduce the notions of generalized pairwise Λ (∨)-soft sets and we investigate their basic properties. Also, we define a soft closure operator on the family of all generalized pairwise Λ -soft sets and generate, in usual manner, an Alexandroff soft topology η gpΛ on …X which is finer than η p ∨ . Furthermore, we prove that (X , η gpΛ , E ) is always a soft T 1 2 space. In addition, we introduce characterizations of pairwise soft T 1 2 * by using generalized pairwise Λ -soft sets and we show that the concepts of generalized pairwise Λ -soft set and generalized pairwise closed soft set are independent. Abstract: The aim of this paper is to propose a satisfactory degree method by using nonlinear programming for solving multi-attribute decision making (MADM) problems in which ratings of alternatives on attributes is expressed via interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy (IVIF) sets and preference information on attributes is incomplete. Concretely, a nonlinear programming model is firstly explored to determine the satisfactory degree which is the ratio of the square of the weight Euclidean distance between an alternative and the IVIF negative ideal solution (IVIFNIS) to the sum of the square of the weight Euclidean distance between the IVIF negative ideal solution (IVIFNIS) and the …IVIF positive ideal solution (IVIFPIS). Another nonlinear programming model is also developed to obtain satisfactory intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and then the general satisfactory degrees of the satisfactory intuitionistic fuzzy sets are used to generate the ranking order of the alternatives. Finally, a real example is employed to verify the applicability of the proposed approach and illustrate its practicality and effectiveness. Show more

Abstract: Linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy number (LIFN) is a special intuitionistic fuzzy number which can more easily describe the uncertainty and the vagueness information existing in the real world, and the power average (PA) operator can relieve some influences of unreasonable attribute values given by biased decision makers. In this paper, we will extend the PA operator to the LIFNs and propose some new operators, and develop some new decision making methods. Firstly, we introduce the definition, properties, score function, and operational rules of the LIFNs. Then, we propose some linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy power operators, such as linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy power averaging …(LIFPA) operator, linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy weighted power averaging (LIFWPA) operator, linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy power geometric (LIFPG) operator, linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy weighted power geometric (LIFWPG) operator, linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy generalized power averaging (LIFGPA) operator, linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy generalized weighted power averaging (LIFGWPA) operator. At the same time, we study some effective properties of these operators. Then, three methods based on the LIFWPA operator, LIFWPG operator and LIFGWPA operator for multi-attribute decision making are proposed. Finally, we use an illustrative example to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed methods. Show more
