Abstract: The trapezoid intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic (TIFL) variables (TIFLVs) can deal with uncertain information more efficiently and precisely and avoid the information losing and distortion in the decision making process. Bonferroni mean (BM) operator can process the relationship of the inputs. In order to take full advantages of them, in this paper, we extend BM to process TIFL information, and propose the BM operator for TIFLVs (TIFLBM), the weighted BM operator for TIFLVs (TIFLWBM), the geometric BM (GBM) operator for TIFLVs (TIFLGBM), and the weighted GBM operator for TIFLVs (TIFLWGBM). Then some properties and some particular cases of these proposed operators …are analyzed. Furthermore, two approaches for multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) based on these operators are developed. Finally, by an example, the effectiveness and the advantages of the developed methods are explained. Show more

Abstract: To analyze the incomplete ordered decision system (IODS), a tolerance dominance relation (TDR) has been introduced in literature, which was an extension of dominance-based rough set approach. Attribute reduction is an important research issue in rough set theory. Because the process of calculating all attribute reductions is a NP-hard problem, this paper mainly focuses on the heuristic algorithm of attribute reduction of IODS by using TDR. Firstly, the properties of rough approximation based on TDR in IODS are reviewed, and a new property of the boundary domain is proposed and proved. Secondly, the concept of approximate quality based on this …property is introduced. Then the concept of attribute reduction based on the approximate quality is defined. Thirdly, the significance of attributes based on the approximate quality is defined, and a heuristic algorithm for finding an attribute reduction of IODS is designed by using the significance of attributes as heuristic information. Finally, the experimental results verify the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper. Show more

Abstract: In this paper we obtain the common fuzzy fixed points of fuzzy mappings satisfying Θ -contraction in a metric space. In the process, we generalize several well known recent and classical results. Finally, we provide an example and application to theoretical computer science to show the significance of the investigation of this paper.

Abstract: The active suspension system has been widely used due to its superiorities in improving the dynamic performance of the vehicle, and various attempts have been done on the development of the control algorithms. In this paper, a new integrated controller is proposed for the active suspension system of heavy vehicles. To verify the proposed control strategy, a half-car model is constructed first, together with the design of wheelbase preview algorithm and the wavelet noise filter in order to enhance the performance of the proposed controller. First, the road input information from the front suspension is collected as preview information to …the rear suspension. Then, with given preview information and the feedback signal of vehicle state, an integrated fuzzy-PID controller is designed to generate the active force of rear suspension so as to attenuate the suspension vibration. Besides, the proposed control strategy also includes a wavelet noise filter to suppress the sensor noise. The evaluation results show that the ride quality, road holding performance, pitch acceleration and suspension deflection are superior to that of the conventional single controller, and the proposed wheelbase preview algorithm and wavelet noise filter are effective in improving the vehicle dynamic performance. Abstract: In this article, a new concept of intuitionistic fuzzy graph of nth type (IFGNT) is proposed as a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy graphs (IFGs) and intuitionistic fuzzy graphs of second type (IFGST). Some light has also been shed upon the concepts of constant intuitionistic fuzzy graphs of second type (CIFGST) and constant intuitionistic fuzzy graphs of nth type (CIFGNT). Moreover, some basic definitions of and results from IFGNT have been developed, supported with examples. Besides, the advantages of proposed new concept over the existing concepts have been highlighted and a comparative study of new and existing works made. …Further, an application of IFGNT has been demonstrated in social networks context.
