Abstract: Moran’s Theorem is one of the milestones in Fractal Geometry. It allows the calculation of the similarity dimension of any (strict) self-similar set lying under the open set condition. Throughout a new fractal dimension we provide in the context of fractal structures, we generalize such a classical result for attractors which are required to satisfy no separation properties.

Abstract: The dual-source procurement strategy does not necessarily reduce the cost of manufacturers under supply disruption risks. This paper differs from studies on the use of a backup supplier by manufactures; it focuses on the impact of inventory status, the recovery situation of production capacity, and the degree of supply disruption using the dual-source procurement strategy when supply disruption occurs. We analyze different degrees of supply disruption situations, and then establish the manufacturer’s profit functions in different situations. We further demonstrate the impact of each decision variable through numerical examples using the dual-source procurement strategy. This study provides a theoretical basis …for the manufacturer’s decision on whether and how to use the dual-source procurement strategy given varying degrees of supply disruption risks. Show more

Abstract: The reality of group decision problem is often a complex large group problem, and because of the influence of the factors such as personality, psychology, values and connection degree, group members can form different community organizations. The structure of community organizations and the individual influence index of member have a significant influence on the decision results. On the basis of individual influence index as well as recessive community organization, considering the individual heterogeneity and the community in group, the article put forward an individual interaction and opinion evolution model of dynamic group decision-making which is more accord with the actual …group behavior, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the model proposed in this paper are illustrated with simulation experiments by matlab platform. The simulation results show that the number of the community in group decision could affect the evolution of the group opinion, as well as the nature of the community, semi-open type of community not only does not prevent the convergence point of view, it will facilitate decision-making reached a certain extent. In addition, the change of community nature and amount will have an impact on the convergence point of view. Show more

Abstract: Considering the uncertainty existing in the railway emergency rescues such as the demand uncertainty of resources, the uncertainty of emergency start time, as well as the uncertainty of urgency degree to rescue and emergency, it was studied that the railway emergency resources dispatching optimization problems with multi-demand point, multi-depot and multi-resource in the paper. The uncertainties in problems were dealt with by fuzzy theory method. A multi-objective programming model is established by maximizing the time satisfaction degree of resources dispatching and minimizing the total cost. In view that the initial emergency rescue resources may be inadequate, by use of GC-TOPSIS …with objective entropy weight, the emergency rescue priority queue were sorted. Combined with the ideal point method, the restricted parameter interval search method for optimal solution was proposed, which can quickly seek the Pareto optimal solution. It provides the effective solving method for large-scale railway rescue resource dispatching under uncertainty conditions. Show more

Abstract: Identification of a consumer’s intent has a vital impact on commodity recommendation, selection of hot drainage commodity, website layout, and link settings. Most of the present studies on user intent are considered static. Specific intent is accompanied by a specific environment. Thus, intent is static when the environment does not change. However, the uncertainty of user access and purchase in e-commerce activities indicates that user intent can assume multiple forms and has multiple developmental stages. Therefore, this study draws support from the core ideas of an ant colony algorithm. Ants represent users, and pheromones represent user intent. User intents of …browsing, collection, cart shopping, and purchasing behavior are obtained from ant responses to pheromones. Pheromone is expressed as the inner product of the objective attribute of commodity and user perception ability, because user intent is the matching result of objective attributes of commodity and subjective feelings of users, and its value is the concentration of user intent pheromone. Thus, the dynamics and uncertainty of user intention development can be presented by the ant colony algorithm. In this study, data were obtained from a NetLogo simulation experiment. We used neural networks to identify and verify user intentions of browsing, collection, cart shopping, and purchasing. The experimental results showed that the accuracy of intention prediction increased from 48% to 67%, and a level of the 11–20% accuracy improvement shows good, realistic predictions. Show more

Abstract: Nowadays FinFETs integrated into complex applications can fulfill the demand of new technology and make chips that can compute faster. Simultaneously various novel FinFETs structures come up constantly. In this brief, the impact of significant geometry parameters variations to device performance has been studied, such as fin height (H fin ), fin width (W fin ), fin spacing (S fin ), aspect ratio (W fin /H fin ), and so on. In the result, we are able to determine the optimum device parameters for Multi-fin FinFETs. Meanwhile we analyze the parasitic gate capacitance and resistance …of the multi-fin FinFETs using a conformal mapping method. To minimize the number of model fitting parameters, nondimensionalization technique is used. An effective lumped resistance model derived from distributed RC network is in use. Also, an analytical parasitic gate capacitance model is proposed, combined with parasitic capacitive couplings between source/drain fins and gates. Those analytical model can be applied for accurate circuit simulations of multi-fin FinFETs devices. The results presented in this paper can be of great help to device designers in designing 3-D devices as per their requirement. Show more

Abstract: For the problem of nodes without identifies and quantity in the environment of wireless sensor network, a new route model of mobile anchor node is provided. The model composed of the one heavy path and the three heavy path. The paper first is to obtain the optimal path through traversing all of the fixed virtual anchor nodes using the model of TSP, and then enters the three heavy path while anchor node sense the unknown nodes in the one heavy path. After have received the three numbers of RSSI data, the anchor node returned to one heavy path. Finally, the …location and numbers of the unknown nodes will be obtained after generalize all of the nodes using iterative methods. The experimental results show that, in the case of the unknown nodes distributed sparse, the proposed path model can reduce the redundant path and the moving time, which reached the goal of the high precision of location. Abstract: The 0-1 knapsack problem is one of the classical NP-hard problems and has been one of the hot research topics in the last few decades. It offers many practical applications in optimization and applied mathematics, such as project selection, resource distribution, investment decision-making and so on. Simultaneity in previous studies DNA molecular computation usually be used to solve NP-complete continuous path search problems (for example HPP, traveling salesman problem), rarely for NP problems with discrete solutions result, such as the 0-1 knapsack problem, graph coloring problem. In this paper, we present a new algorithm for solving the 0-1 knapsack problem …with DNA molecular operations. For 0-1 knapsack problem with n distinct items, weight capacity C and total profits W, we reasonably design fixed length DNA strands representing items, take appropriate steps and get the solutions of the problem in proper length range using O(n + C + W) time. We extend the application of DNA molecular operations and simultaneity simplify the complexity of the computation. Show more
