Abstract: Molodtsov introduced the concept of soft set theory which can be used as a generic mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainties. In this paper, we discuss a new approach to introduce the basic properties of soft sets and compare soft sets to the related concepts of semihypergroups. We initiate the study of soft semihypergroups by using the soft subsemihypergroups, soft hyperideals, soft prime (semiprime) hyperideals, soft irreducible hyperideals.

Abstract: This paper deals with the optimal operation management of the distribution feeder reconfiguration (DFR) considering the uncertainty effects. In contrast to the conventional objective functions, this paper considers the System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) as a reliability index. Meanwhile, the total active power losses and the voltage deviation objective functions are considered as the other targets too. In order to make the analysis more practical, the uncertainty associated with the active and reactive load forecast errors are modeled in a stochastic framework based on 2 m Point Estimate Method (PEM). In the proposed stochastic optimization framework, an external memory …called repository is defined to store the non-dominated solutions which are found during the optimization process. Also, a fuzzy based clustering technique is defined to keep the size of the repository within the predefined limits. Since the proposed problem is a nonlinear, discrete complex optimization problem, this paper proposes an intelligent self adaptive modified optimization algorithm based on θ-firefly algorithm to solve the optimal multi-objective stochastic DFR problem suitably. The proposed self-adaptive modification method consists of three sub-modification techniques which let each firefly choose the sub-modification method that best suits its situation adaptively. The feasibility and superiority of the proposed method is tested on a standard IEEE test system. Show more

Abstract: The paper presents some results of the research connected with the development of new approach based on the fuzzy logic (FL) of predicting the layer thickness of the chromium carbonitride (Cr(C,N)) in 1.2210 steel after thermoreactive deposition and diffusion (TRD) coating. The independent variables in the model are nitriding time, salt bath compositions ratio, salt bath aging time, ferro-chromium particle size, ferro-chromium weight percent, salt bath temperature and coating time. The model output variable was the layer thickness of coating. For purpose of constructing these models, 105 different experimental data were gathered from the experiment. The data used in the …fuzzy logic model is arranged in a format of eigth parameters that cover the input and output parameter. In this model, the training and testing results in the fuzzy logic systems have shown strong potential for prediction of effects of pre-nitriding, salt bath condition and coating variables on layer thickness of Cr(C,N) coating on 1.2210 steel. Abstract: This paper presents an approach to the fuzzification of complete lattices. This kind of fuzzification is a functor from the category of complete lattices to the category of complete L-ordered sets. It not only can be considered as an algebraic representation of the Lowen functor ωL , but also can characterize the stratification of L-topological spaces and the underlying set of Hutton unit interval.

Abstract: Motivated by studying the structural properties of left (right) regular and intra-regular classes of an ordered semigroup, in this paper we have considered these classes in an ordered $\mathcal{AG}$-groupoid and shown that they coincide in a structure of an ordered $\mathcal{AG}$-groupoid with left identity. We have provided some useful connections between ordered $\mathcal{AG}$-groupoids and ordered semigroups. We have proved that every fuzzy right ideal of an ordered $\mathcal{AG}$-groupoid with left identity becomes a fuzzy left ideal but the converse is not valid. Moreover it has shown that a fuzzy left ideal and a fuzzy right ideal coincide in a left …regular ordered $\mathcal{AG}$-groupoid with left identity. As an application of our results we get characterizations of left regular ordered $\mathcal{AG}$-groupoids in terms of fuzzy sets. Show more

Abstract: The cooperative learning appeared in the globalization of education, it is a new teaching theory and strategy frequently used to study the new things and to solve the new problems by group cooperation. The introduction of cooperative learning to fundamental curriculum reform has been a main direction of various countries' education reforms and develops. In the education and the teaching, how appraises student's cooperation ability, especially the interpersonal skills is count for much, the school and the teacher should give the high value. The aim of this paper is to investigate the multiple attribute decision making problems for social network …analysis in the evaluation of collaborative learning research with hesitant fuzzy information. Based on the basic ideal of traditional TOPSIS, calculation steps for solving hesitant fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making problems with completely known weight information are given. The weighted Hamming distances between every alternative and positive ideal solution and negative ideal solution are calculated. Then, according to the weighted Hamming distances, the relative closeness degree to the positive ideal solution is calculated to rank all alternatives. Finally, a practical example for social network analysis in the evaluation of collaborative learning research is used to illustrate the developed procedures. Show more

Abstract: We investigate the multiple attribute decision making problems for evaluating the service marketing management with uncertain linguistic information. Motivated by the ideal of induced Choquet ordered averaging operator (Yager, R.R., Induced aggregation operators, Fuzzy Sets and Systems 137 (2003) 59–69.) and induced generalized OWA operator (Merigó, J. M. and Gil-Lafuente, A. M, The induced generalized OWA operator, Information Sciences 179(2009) 729–741), in this paper, we have developed an induced generalized uncertain linguistic correlated averaging (I-GULCA) operator. The prominent characteristic of the operators is that they can not only consider the importance of the elements or their ordered positions, but also …reflect the correlation among the elements or their ordered positions. We have applied the I-GULCA operator to multiple attribute decision making problems for evaluating the service marketing management with uncertain linguistic information. Finally an illustrative example for evaluating the service marketing management with uncertain linguistic information has been given to show the developed method. Show more

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problem based on the aggregation operators with dual hesitant fuzzy information. Then, motivated by the ideal of arithmetic and geometric operation, we have developed some aggregation operators for aggregating dual hesitant fuzzy information: dual hesitant fuzzy weighted average (DHFWA) operator, dual hesitant fuzzy weighted geometric (DHFWG) operator, dual hesitant fuzzy ordered weighted average (DHFOWA) operator, dual hesitant fuzzy ordered weighted geometric (DHFOWG) operator, dual hesitant fuzzy hybrid average (DHFHA) operator and dual hesitant fuzzy hybrid geometric (DHFHG) operator. The prominent characteristic of these proposed operators are studied. Then, we …have utilized these operators to develop some approaches to solve the dual hesitant fuzzy multiple attribute decision making problems. Finally, a practical example for potential evaluation of emerging technology commercialization with dual hesitant fuzzy information is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness. Abstract: Image enhancement methods are classified as a group of image processing techniques that receive an image as an input and produce a modified image as an output. There is much effort in literature to propose an efficient enhancing method, but as there are many uncertainties in images, there is no general method. Type-2 fuzzy set theory, by providing quantitative tools to empower the machine to mimic human reasoning, is able to provide effective method for this purpose. In this paper, a new enhancement method based on Type-2 fuzzy rule based systems is proposed and its performance in detecting noise pixels …and improving image quality is then evaluated using four images corrupted with pre-defined noise types. Four Magnetic Resonance Images are also used to show the ability of the proposed method in real world applications. The results show that the proposed method can efficiently reduce the noise pixels and improve the image quality. Show more

Abstract: Fullér and Majlender (Fuzzy Sets and Systems 136 (2003) 363–374) introduced the notation of weighted interval-valued possibilistic mean value of fuzzy numbers and investigate its relationship to the interval-valued probabilistic mean. In this paper, we introduce the new notation of lower and upper weighted magnitude mean values of a fuzzy number. The new interval-valued weighted magnitude mean and variance are defined, which differs from the one given by Fullér and Majlender. We will show the relationship of interval-valued weighted magnitude mean and interval-valued weighted possibilistic mean. Furthermore, we shall also introduce the notations of crisp weighted magnitude mean value, variance …and covariance of fuzzy numbers, which are consistent with the extension principle. Finally, some comparative examples are used to illustrate the advantage of the proposed weighted magnitude mean value and variance method to order fuzzy numbers. Show more
