From the Editor
I am a fan of the USA football team, the New England Patriot. On February 5, they made a remarkable comeback to win 34 to 28 in overtime and became the 2017 super bowl champions. For football fans, this was a historic moment and one that will be remembered for a life time. I mention this event because it underscores the importance of dedication, perseverance, motivation and performing in a knowledgeable, experienced, and intelligent manner, especially when in a stressful situation.
I recommend considering these characteristics, dedication, perseverance, motivation and using knowledge, experience, and intelligence as useful traits when writing a manuscript. Dedication is certainly needed when working on a manuscript. I can recall many times when I just didn’t have the resources, e.g., time and energy to address reviewers’ feedback on a manuscript and it took perseverance and motivation to complete it. Have you had a similar experience? Being knowledgeable about the evidence literature on the topic, using your experience as a researcher or scholar practitioner and your intelligence makes the manuscript become areality.
This issue contains 15 articles which have been rigorously vetted in the review process that occurs with all manuscripts published in WORK. It required dedication, perseverance, motivation and using knowledge, experience, and intelligence to make these manuscripts become articles. Congratulations to all the authors.
