This issue of WORK contains 22 articles, two of which are in our IEA Special Section, Ergonomics in a Global World: Maximum handgrip strength as a function of type of work, and hand-forearm dimensions and Design-in-use applied to Brazilian agriculture: the case of citrus and sugarcane harvesting. The remaining 20 articles are authored by scientists, researchers and clinicians from around the globe. These articles are on a variety of topics such as lifting, the effects of cycle and treadmill desks on work performance and cognitive function, income and employment equity, dentistry, tablet use, work-related threats and violence, sleep among others.
