Abstract: Let ๐ be a set of connected graphs. Then a spanning subgraph A of G is called an ๐-factor if each component of A is isomorphic to some member of ๐. Especially, when every graph in ๐ is a path, A is a path factor. For a positive integer d โฅ 2, we write ๐ซโฅd = {๐ซi|i โฅ d}. Then a ๐ซโฅd-factor means a path factor in which every component admits at least d vertices. A graph G is called a (๐ซโฅd,m)-factor deleted graph if G โ Eโฒ admits a ๐ซโฅd-factor for any Eโฒ โ E(G) with |Eโฒ| = m. A graph G is called a (๐ซโฅd, k)-factor critical graph if G โ Q has a ๐ซโฅd-factor for any Q โ V (G) with |Q| = k. In this paper, we present two degree conditions for graphs to be (๐ซโฅ3,m)-factor deleted graphs and (๐ซโฅ3, k)-factor critical graphs. Furthermore, we show that the two results are best possible in some sense.
