Abstract: A prediction method of creep fracture and remnant life for cracked specimens was proposed taking account for the load line displacement rate and relative notch opening displacement rate by some of present authors. In this study, using the proposed master curve of creep deformation based on the similarity law of creep deformation plotted against the normalized time of stress application, it has been attempted to characterize the creep deformation and creep ductility throughout from creep-ductile to creep-brittle materials, such as ferritic, austenitic, Ni base and intermetallics materials.
