Abstract: During the pre-Hib (Conjugated Haemophilus influenzae type b)
vaccination era, bacteremic facial cellulitis was often attributed to
Haemophilus influenzae type b and less frequently with Streptococcus
pneumoniae. Here we present a case of bacteremic facial cellulitis with
Moraxella catarrhalis.
