Abstract: CASGL helps learners to draw solids as 3D images, rotate the images in different directions so as to understand the different orientations of the geometrical shape in 3D space. The learner can view a solid from different angles by rotating it and study the various three-dimensional aspects of the solid. It also facilitates the learning of (1) cross-sections by cutting a given solid by a plane knife at a given angle and orientation, (2) projection of the solid figure on a desired plane and the rest, (3) intersection of two or more solids, (4) orthographic views, (5) perspective and positional relationships between one or more solids in 3D space and (6) the graph of pouring the water into a solid. CASGL supports learners to understand the solid geometry by giving quizzes based on their level of understanding.
