Abstract: In the context of the Internet of Things and big data, the development of the cultural tourism industry is an important symbol of the prosperity of the national cultural industry. In my country’s cultural tourism industry, with the continuous improvement of people’s pursuit of spiritual life in the 21st century, it has shown an unprecedented growth of the cultural tourism market. In the background of big data and the prosperity of the Internet, this article analyzes and investigates the development status and development trends of the cultural tourism industry in recent years. The update and innovation construction of the cultural tourism industry put forward development suggestions, and finally, the integration and development of the cultural tourism industry and the big data IoT background, propose a new development direction, and provide the use of big data to conduct cultural tourism customer analysis and comprehensive data applications.
