Abstract: Service architects and developers are interested to create software tools/applications that would help software analysts in the process of software requirements elicitation and specification, which then will improve the productivity and quality of the software being developed. Based on the idea that the use of computer aided software engineering (CASE) tools should improve the entire software development process, we have conducted a survey, aiming at exploring developers’ experience with the use of CASE tools in IT Companies based in North Macedonia. We have collected empirical data, examined the use and impact of CASE tools for management of software requirements at different software companies, and try to reveal the factors that influence toward the use of CASE tools.
