Abstract: New cover mediums for hiding data communication or storage are continuously being proposed. From the classical image files (bmp, gif, and jpg formats) to audio files (wav and also mp3), including text and/or html files, emails disguised as spam, tcp/ip packets, executables programs, DNA strands, etc. In this note we present and analyze a general methodology to use games (chess, go, etc.) to hide digital contents and look at some of its possible uses, improvements, and extensions.
