Undergraduate information programmes in Australia: a brief survey

Abstract: This paper provides a brief survey of undergraduate programmes in information science which are accredited by the Australian Library and Information Association. It gives a short background to the evolution of these courses and outlines course structures of two diverse Bachelors programmes in this field of study.
