The structure of linoleic acid ester of trans‐lachnophyllol isolated from Aster tataricus

Abstract: A linoleic acid ester of an alcohol possessing two triple bonds (trans‐lachnophyllol) has been isolated from the root of Aster tataricus, and its structure determined based on the spectroscopic evidence.
