Abstract: This article proposes a novel approach for multi-attribute group decision making problem (MAGDM) with trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TIFNs). The novelty of this approach is that it can express fuzziness and hesitation simultaneously. We investigate the risk expected score function of TIFNs by taking into account the experts’ risk attitude. Then, a ranking sensitivity analysis of the attitudinal expected score function is constructed. To aggregate the arguments of TIFNs, some novel operators are proposed based on Einstein sum and Einstein product. In particular, we develop the trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging (TIFEWA) operator, the trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (TIFEOWA) operator and the trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein hybrid averaging (TIFEHA) operator. By these aggregating operators, an approach is proposed to solve MAGDM problems under risk enviroment. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.
