Abstract: In this paper we devise an algorithm for the selection of personnel for a multiple phase project which takes into account the match between the skills possessed by the personnel, the skills needed for each phase, and rather flexible budget considerations. This algorithm uses several fuzzy constructs: compatibility, degree of equality, and the necessity of a set given a fuzzy set of available capital.
