Abstract: During the study of switching fabric and scheduling algorithm, simulation has become an important mean to analyze and evaluate the performance of a design scheme. But the simulation software about switching fabric and scheduling algorithm has defects in inheritance and scalability exist at present. In order to evaluate the performance of parallel switch system intuitively and accurately, the simulation platform PPS-CICQ-SIM has been designed and developed, which adopted object-oriented technology for analysis, design and implement. The simulation platform overcomes the problems of the existing simulation software, and provides an efficient mean to evaluate the performance of switch system. At the end of this paper, the simulation result of typical parallel switch system scheduling algorithms such as iSLIP, OQ were given, which verified the effectiveness of the simulation platform PPS-CICQ-SIM.
