Abstract: This article has been retracted, and the online PDF has been watermarked ``RETRACTION''. The retraction notice is available at http://doi.org/10.3233/JCM239002. The article Design and dynamics simulation of vehicle active occupant restraint protection system, by Zhongke Xiang, and Feifei Xiang, originally published in Journal of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering, vol. 21, no. 5, pp. 1385--1396, 2021 (DOI: 10.3233/JCM-214763) has been retracted on the initiative of the authors. The authors state: ``Because the system designed in this paper has major defects in principle, there is the possibility of causing road traffic accidents, and the implementation mechanism designed in this paper has the possibility of causing physical injury to the test subjects or drivers. Without avoiding the occurrence of these circumstances, the authors applied for retraction. In addition, some charts and contents of the paper incorrectly quote the master's degree thesis of the author's research project partner, and both sides have different views on the correctness and rationality of the above contents.
