Abstract: The factors that influence the position of the first resonance in the low frequency range of transformer windings Frequency Response are discussed in the paper. It is confirmed by industrial measurements and verified by a computer modeling that the position of the first resonance, measured in a standard end-to-end open test setup, is stable and does not depend on the winding being tested. The frequency of the first resonance depends on capacitance of the HV windings in different phases so the differences between curves visible in the low frequency range of the Frequency Response are not influenced by the tested winding.
