Abstract: The magnetic levitation system does not hurt thin steel plate. The system for conveyance is constructed by a lot of electromagnets and gap sensors. Because of these many sensors, expense and space are required. Therefore, the introduction of sensorless control with observer is significant. The sensorless system is not always stable when the coil resistance changes slightly by room temperature change. This study examines the design method of voltage-controlled and current-controlled observer for constructing a robust sensorless system. This paper describes the experiment with the model of voltage-controlled observer. Then, the availability of the model is evaluated by the experiment.
