Global outsourcing and its managerial implications

Abstract: Our purpose in the paper is to provide a concrete framework to help managers rethink about global outsourcing and focus on how to manage the alliances to ensure its success in the global market. This paper discusses the driving factors for the global outsourcing and the opportunities exposed to information technology and information systems (IT/IS) society. Major issues that a developing country may face for improving its environment to be a bidding candidate in global outsourcing business are explored and strategies are suggested as well.
