The corresponding author contacted the editorial office requesting the article retraction. He informed that some experiments were done by a third-party company who did not provide the raw data. The author claims to have recently repeated the experiments on 8505C cells, without being able to reach the same results. Moreover, there is a possibility of cell contamination resulting in inconsistent experimental results, as cells were not correctly identified prior to the experiments.
