Abstract: Using the periodic unfolding method, we shall analyze the asymptotic behavior of the solution of a system of coupled partial differential equations appearing in the modeling of an elasticity problem in a periodic structure formed by two interwoven and connected components with imperfect contact at the interface. Our setting proves to be relevant for analyzing contact problems for multiphase composites with imperfect interfaces.
